2025! Need a Service Cat for That?

My daughter has a cute little black kitty with a teeny white patch on her chest. Adopted during Covid, Jetta provided needed company and hijinks. Fall of 2023 I was attempting to figure out the digital illustration program Procreate and needed a project to facilitate my learning. I asked my daughter a list of questions about Jetta without letting her know why. Her answers were fun and creative so I decided to illustrate two book covers of a made-up middle-reader series and surprise her for Christmas that year.

Procreate is an amazing program and I've used it many times since Jetta Jerwig. I'm still partial to traditional methods, but, who knows what projects 2025 will bring.

A Bird in the Hand

"From Tree to Tale" is carver Steve Arment's latest show, opening at the Josephy Center November 14th at 4pm and runs through December 18th. It is a fund-raiser for Josephy Center's youth art programs. He has invited various artist to participate and I have created 25 bird paintings, all 6"x 6" or less.
