When I was considering where to set up my studio, it would have made sense to use my office space. However, the lighting wasn't great, and I still needed a place for my computers, printers, and graphic design paraphernalia to live. The best light was in my dining room, which we really only used on special occasions. I kept the table (padded and covered it, to keep the damage and paint splotches to a minimum), then began moving and repurposing furniture. For non-creatives these photos might seem backwards!

Love it! Brings to mind a sign I had in my work space: "A creative mess is better than tidy idleness." (Not that your studio looks very messy, but it does look creative!)
